I’m not too embarrassed to share one of my first web sites, a popular Tori Amos fan page called “Shock Me Sane” on Tripod servers. This site had been around since 1997, but I was able to track down the last updated version from 1999. It’s still a pretty impressive web site with streaming real audio, affiliate links to sell CDs online, embedded videos, newsletters, IRC chat rooms, a gallery, and my first blog.

Remember CDNow? I still have a baseball hat they sent me somewhere. It was a labor of love, however it did generate a little extra income in college and laid the foundation of my career in Web Design.
