Our first client spotlight features The Spiral Foundation. This site utilizes the power of WordPress, Divi Theme, LearnDash software for online learning and WooCommerce for their online store. It integrates many different components including social media feeds, site-wide language translators, mailing list, webinars, donation buttons, and much more!

Client Spotlight: The Spiral Foundation

This month kaleidaweb is featuring Massachusetts-based non-profit organization, The Spiral Foundation, a sensory processing institute for research and learning. We are honored to support such a tremendous cause and find that a combination of personalized digital tools positively impacts the efficacy of the overall website design that we crafted.

The Spiral Foundation

To start, let’s look at the software we use:

google translate

Embedded Facebook Feed

For example, we embedded Spiral’s Facebook feed to be featured on the margins of the site to showcase the necessary research for sensory processing disorders and keep visitors updated on the organization’s activity and participation on social media.

Donation Buttons + Translation Functions

Spiral Foundation Donation Button

We also made donation buttons easily accessible to anyone who wishes to support the foundation’s research and operation.

Spiral Foundation Language Translations

Finally, with accessibility at the forefront of Spiral’s ethos, its website offers over 10 language translations of the organization’s website to ensure its mission is reaching as many people as possible.

LearnDash + WooCommerce Integration

Since The Spiral Foundation allots many of its resources to education we made sure to perfect the presentation of and registration process for the various discussions and classes offered on its “Current & Upcoming Courses” page. At the end of the month, on April 28th at 7:00 EST the foundation is hosting an hour-long conversation with Dr. Kate Barlow on “Sensory Integration and Mental Health: Learn The Signs. Act Early. What do you need to know?”

The Associate Professor from American International College and the CDC’s Learn the Signs. Act Early. (LTSAE) Ambassador for Massachusetts will lead this introductory level course to aid psychologists, professionals, and parents to access and apply LTSAE materials in diverse methods.

Anyone interested can easily register by the click of a button on the webpage we designed to streamline the process and ultimately make educational accessibility resources widely available.
